Madeleine Doherty
From Ireland, Madeleine is a freelance concert harpist, composer and singer.  She plays both Celtic and concert harp.  Since childhood, the natural gift of psychic ability and mediumship is what guides and informs her beautiful musical works.  She is also a sacred sound & color practitioner, and teacher. Through the language of color and by using simple exercises, such as meditation and visualization, Madeleine assists people to attain greater understanding of their unique qualities, their gifts, and their life purpose.

Suzanne Tribe Originally from Argentina, Suzanne Tribe has performed extensively in a variety of world music genres from folk songs, blues to the ‘bagualas’ of the Argentinean Andes where she did her research. As Associate Professor at the University of Buenos Aires she created new methods for training dance mayors in the use of vocal expression and percussion.   She moved to the US in 2005 where she trained in the HealthRHYTHMS protocol. She also teaches musical improvisation workshops and classes on shamanic healing techniques at the Center for Integrative Medicine in Cos Cob, CT.

In this experiential workshop we will explore with Madeleine the prism of colors we are, reflecting our accumulated wisdom and experience. She will teach us the tune of each chakra with relationship to its color and we will intone those sounds.

In the afternoon session, Suzanne will lead us on a journey to find our inner sacred sound and will demonstrate on her Tonoscope how the sound of your voice creates beautiful geometric patterns. Your voice made visible!  She will bring us on a journey through drumming, movement and visualization. Please bring a drum or percussion instrument; a limited number of drums will be available. You may want to bring a pillow/blanket for sitting on the floor.  A one-hour lunch will follow the completion of the morning session. A bag lunch recommended,  kitchen facility available.
